World famous NYC Jazz Pianist and Singer Irving Fields Celebrates his 95th Birthday Tonight

Friends, family and fans will be celebrating the 95th birthday of Irving Fields, the Nation's Oldest Latin and Jazz Pianist on Tuesday August, 4, 2009 at 6pm at Nino's Tuscany Restaurant on 117 West 58th Street. Between 6th and 7th Avenue.

The New York City Icon, still performs today six nights a week at the Lounge of Nino's Tuscany Restaurant. Officials from the City of New York will be proclaiming a day in his honor. Members of the United Restaurant Association will be also be honoring him for keeping the Nightlife alive for over 9 decades.

The Latin inspired Jazz pianist sold over 2 million records for the'Miami Beach Rhumba" in 1959 and its still performed in Latin America and the United States today. He will be singing at his celebration with employees and patrons as well as being presented a giant cake made by the Italian cafe he still works at. he was born on August 4, 1915
