I always look forward to Thanksgiving morning to see performances of Broadway shows. This year is no different.

So set your VCR's, TIVO's, and DVD recorders.

NBC's coverage of the Thanksgiving Day parade starts at 9 a.m. While waiting for the parade to reach Macy's in Herald Square, the first hour of the telecast normally showcases Broadway. This year is no exception.

The following Broadway shows will be featured: A Chorus Line, Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas: The Musical, The Color Purple, and Spamalot. Diane DeGarmo of Hairspray will also perform.

On "The Thanksgiving Day Parade On CBS", look for Jersey Boys at 9:30 a.m. performing "My Eyes Adored You", "Dawn (Go Away)" and "December, 1963 (Oh What A Night)".  At 11 a.m.  Tony winners Bob Martin and Beth Leavel will be singing "As We Stumble Along" from The Drowsey Chaperone.
