The Street, A Michael Mina Social House, is excited to announce a lineup of exciting events in November and December. The Street offers a bustling collection of culinary experiences curated by the James Beard award-winning chef Michael Mina, and proves itself once again as a gourmet gathering place and multi-concept collaboration between a roster of talented chefs.

Food Fight!

FOOD FIGHT! is a monthly battle between top chefs and mixologists at The Street, A Michael Mina Social House at the International Market Place. The event pits members of the Michael Mina hawker stations against each other in a friendly, but spirited competition.

Date: Thursday, November 30
Time: 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Place: Queen's Court at the International Market Place

The Street's Andrew Woodley squares off against STRIPSTEAK's Mundo Delgado in an epic rum cocktail battle sponsored by our partners at Trans Atlantic division of Southern Wine & Spirits. Join us for this fun and lively competition between two of Michael Mina's fiercest mixologists as they make cocktail creations to win the votes of the judging panel. After the battle everyone who attends is invited back to STRIPSTEAK to sample the featured cocktail and weigh in on their favorite by voting for the "audience choice" award. Stay to enjoy the nightly happy hour specials at The Street in a festive "street party" environment.

Thanksgiving at The Street - Thursday, November 23rd from 12:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Join us and share a Thanksgiving Feast with us with a menu crafted with all your favorites in mind just like Grandma used to make. The bountiful menu is $29.99 per person and includes:

-Smoked turkey with wild mushroom gravy (a bit of dark and white meat)

-Redondo's sausage stuffing

-Garlic mashed potatoes

-Coconut curry cornbread

-Sweet potato and marshmallow casserole

-Cranberry sauce

-Heather's pumpkin or pecan pie, whipped cream

Honolulu Marathon Carbo Loading at The Street on December 8th and 9th from 3:30 - 10:00 p.m.

Whether you're a seasoned marathoner, a weekend warrior or you just enjoy a healthy portion of pasta, you're invited to join us in an impressive array of carb options in preparation for running the marathon or just cheering on your friends on their journey. The Pre-Marathon Carbo Load at The Street is $25 per person and includes:

Spaghetti and Meatball: Jersey crushed tomato & GIANT meatball
Fettucine Alfredo: Grilled chicken breast, cracked black pepper cream
Baked Ziti: House mozzarella, Grandma's tomato sauce (vegetarian option)
Bowties with Macadamia Nut Pesto: Shrimp scampi with basil and a tomato confit

*Each meal comes with a large portion of:

House Garlic Bread: Parsley-garlic butter, parmesan

Dessert: Chocolate Chip Biscotti: Italian version of a chocolate chip cookie, wrapped to go.

ABOUT ANDREW WOODLEY

Andrew started his career behind the bar at the age of 18 at his local pub, The Black Lion in Leighton Buzzard, Great Britain. In 2014 Andrew joined the San Francisco-based Mina Group where he became opening bar-back at their Japanese restaurant, PABU. He quickly expressed his creative flair by having a number of his cocktail creations hit the menu prior to being promoted to bartender. In the summer of 2016, Andrew moved to Honolulu where he helped open and curate the cocktail menu at STRIPSTEAK in the newly opened International Market Place. A year later, Andrew moved just two stories down from STRIPSTEAK at The Street: A Michael Mina Social House as their Lead Bartender. Within The Street are three bars: Beer, Kai, and The Myna Bird Tiki Bar, which hosts some of the best rum and tiki cocktails in Hawai'i.

ABOUT RAYMUNDO DELGADO

Raymundo Delgado is the Lead Bartender at STRIPSTEAK located in the International Market Place in Waikiki. Delgado believes in hospitality and enjoys getting to know good people that make him feel joyful. He is able to create memorable moments with people he meets from all over the world. Delgado started his career in hospitality in the early 2000´s. His passion started when his uncle helped him obtain a job as a dishwasher. From then he started moving his way up the chain from room service to the position he holds now. He remembers Postrio SF restaurant as an eye-opener for his curiosity to the world of fine dining and hospitality. After Postrio´s closure, Delgado began to work for Michael Mina, Inc. where he received more opportunities to grow as an individual and to expand his knowledge.

ABOUT THE STREET, A MICHAEL MINA SOCIAL HOUSE

Offering a variety of welcoming dining options, the 6,900-square foot venue is designed as a culinary journey for friends and families to gather for casual meals or festive celebrations. From barbecue to beer and pizza to poke, The Street will feature 12 different restaurant concepts, each presenting a delicious menu driven by the chefs' passion for the foods they love to cook and eat. Providing the perfect setting for anything from a casual lunch to a late night gathering, the 280-seat space is crafted for open and communal seating.

The restaurant is located at 2330 Kal?kaua Ave., on the ground floor of the International Market Place. Valet, self-parking and parking validation is available. The Street will join MINA Group's contemporary American steakhouse, STRIPSTEAK Waikiki, located on the Market Place's Third Floor Grand L?nai. The Street Honolulu is the first of its kind, while a second one will open in Los Angeles' Beverly Center in 2018.
