Wanderlust to Return to Tremblant This August

Wanderlust, producers of the largest yoga lifestyle events in the world, returns to Mont Tremblant, August 11-August 14. The four-day festival allows attendees to unplug from the ordinary and choose their own adventure from a variety of activities including yoga, live music, meditation, explorative hikes, kayaking, running treks, fine dining and more.

This year, Wanderlust presents an unparalleled lineup of new offerings to inspire, surprise and delight.

What's New and Not To Be Missed at Wanderlust Tremblant 2016?

• Sunrise Trail Hikes: Start your day off with a gentle hike to watch the sun rise with stunning mountain views.
• Classes with Mary Beth LaRue, Faith Hunter and Shabad Khalsa : These powerhouse yoga instructors comes to Wanderlust Tremblant for the very first time.
• Sonic Hikes: We will offer four different hikes that that have musical accompaniment. After a meditative hike, attendees can choose to join Masood Ali Khan for kirtan in the woods; Elijah Ray for a musical mediation sonic excursion, Max ZT will play the original pieces inspired by his travels in Senegal and India, Garth Stevenson will lead hikes early in the morning and perform his upright bass as the sun rises, and attendees will be serenaded by YAIMA who will play a short collection of songs written and inspired by the wind-all in stunning natural settings.
• Local Favorites: Quebecoise Instructors Genvieve Gueard, Nicole Bordeleau, Janick Leonard, Nadia Bonenfant, Marie-Eve Bertand and Melanie Richards will lead classes in French.
• Meditation Experiences: Relax and get centered with renowned teachers such as Dharma Mittra, Rameen Peyrow, Kathyrn Flynn, Andrew Bathory and more.
• Musical Performances: Get down with live performances featuring the sheer exuberance of DakhaBrakha, the Gulf Coast soul of The Suffers, Karsh Kale's atmospheric electronicaand many more as well as superstar DJs: Serious Black, DJ Drez and more.
• Speakeasy Talks: Attendees will be inspired by the Speakeasy series, a lecture program featuring today's thought leaders: Earle G Hall will discuss the Science of Happiness, Gabrielle Falardeau will explore Alimentation et Conservation and Smart Halo Founder Xavier Peich will reveal the future of cycling, Melissa Collert will inspire you to get clear on what you want and how to get it-and many more.
• Soulscape Classes:This yoga practice accompanied by our DJs powerful, exclusive playlists is designed to dissolve hardened boundaries and unwind the tension. Classes devoted entirely to the music of Nina Simone, Moby and A Tribe Called Quest are on this year's roster.
• Earth Mandala Playshop: Join Day Schildkret to scout the Wanderlust landscape to collect tools and supplies, channel your creative side and learn how to create your very own Earth Mandala.
• Barefoot Hiking: This midday hike will begin at the top of the Gondola and will follow the 360 trail that circles the peak. While enjoying incredible views in every direction, this hike will be done in bare feet, and mostly silently, to focus awareness on the novel sensations.
• Reggae Yoga: Superstar yoga instructor Faith Hunter will create an inspirational playlist and offer a playful blend of sequences that will get you singing, your body moving, and inspire you to create positive change in your community with One Love spirit.
• Flashback to the 80s Blacklight Yoga: Who doesn't love 80's music? Come have fun on your mat and flow it out to the top beats of this era. Let loose and enjoy an energetic fluid sequence that will focus on core strength and building a strong foundation. Leg warmers, and neon colored yoga apparel are highly encouraged.
• Muhammad Ali Tribute Class: Join MC Yogi & DJ Drez for a soul filled yoga experience inspired by the life and legacy of Muhammad Ali.
• Twilight Harmonies: French + American Serenades: Join Francesa Blanchard for a summit concert of reflective songs on life, love and heartbreak in French and English.
