WOB Cancels JOSEPH Auditions

Due to unforseen circumstances, Way Off Broadway has cancelled our upcoming auditions for the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. We were notified by the Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization that a potential tour of the production may be going out and therefore they were withdrawing all of the rights for the show for regional productions. This, of course, means Joseph will no longer be the opening show of the 2011 Season. We are in the process of signing a contract for a new show, instead, that will make its Western Maryland regional theater debut here at Way Off Broadway. We are very excited to be able to premiere yet another new show here in Frederick and will be announcing the title of this production very soon.
The remainder of the season will still include Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific, the Frederick-premiere of the blockbuster musical Hairspray, Chicago, and WOB's original Christmas Tidings. details for all of these productions can be found on our website, www.wayoffbroadway.com.Videos
