WHISKEY PANTS: THE MAYOR OF WILLIAMSBURG Set for FRIGID New York

Mind The Art Entertainment - the award-winning company behind the festival hits FATTY FATTY NO FRIENDS, THE TIMING OF THE DAY and STORY TIME WITH MR. BUTTERMEN, - is proud to announce the premiere of their brand-new contemporary operetta, WHISKEY PANTS: THE MAYOR OF WILLIAMSBURG, premiering at the FRIGID Festival in New York City.

Williamsburg, Brooklyn: a land where the whiskey is always flowing. Here people live in blissful peace under the tenure of Whiskey Pants, their beloved Mayor. Since "The Event", they've found it's dangerous to dream, leaving most to prefer to live their days in a drunken stupor. But now, their way of life is threatened by an ambitious newcomer from the outside world who seeks to sober their perpetual hangover. Will he ruin everything? Or will he discover that in Williamsburg, it's easier to drink.

This contemporary operetta by the team behind Fatty Fatty No Friends (2014 Time Out New York Critic's Pick) features Nicholas Connolly, Rachel Drayke, Isaac Harold, Bethany Garaghty, Jessica Futran, Mollie Craven, Caitlin Wees, Jensen Clifford and Mary Knapp.

WHISKEY PANTS: THE MAYOR OF WILLIAMSBURG was conceived and directed by Mind The Art Entertainment's Artistic Director Christian De Gré, and written by Serrana Gay and Joseph Reese Anderson, and features original music & orchestrations by De Gré. The operetta is designed by Kate Marley, Nik Robalino and Ashley Soliman (2014 FingeNYC Overall Excellence Award winner), features musical direction by Aaron Butler, choreography by Mariel Lowe, photography by Ze' Castle and is being produced by R. Patrick Alberty.
