RIVERDALE returns from its hiatus in soon with the highly anticipated episode 'Chapter Thirty-One: A Night to Remember'. As previously reported, The CW's high school drama RIVERDALEwill be staging a production of CARRIE: THE MUSICAL this spring. The show's resident bad girl Cheryl Blossom (played by Madelaine Petsch) will play Carrie White in the episode.

The episode will air on April 18 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Unlike in other high school shows that feature known musicals, RIVERDALE will feature 11 songs from the show by Michael Gore and Dean Pitchford.

Riverdale is new Wednesdays at 8/7c only on The CW, and available next day on The CWApp. Based on the characters from Archie Comics, RIVERDALE is from Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, in association with Berlanti Productions, with executive producers Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa ("Supergirl," "Glee"), Greg Berlanti ("Arrow," "The Flash," "Supergirl," "DC's Legends of Tomorrow"), Sarah Schechter ("Arrow," "The Flash," "Supergirl," "DC's Legends of Tomorrow") and Jon Goldwater (Archie Comics).
