Broadway vet Idina Menzel reprised her role of Rachel's mom Shelby on last night's episode of Glee titled 'Sweet Dreams.' In the episode, as Rachel prepares for her first Broadway audition, her mom shows up to offer assistance. Currently running a daycare center for Broadway actors, Shelby reveals to Rachel that her dream is to see her daughter make it on Broadway. To show her support, she suggests they sing a duet of Emeli Sande's, "Next to Me." Check out the performance below!

Also on the episode, when the members of New Directions learn that the theme of this year's Regionals is "Dreams," everyone has his/her own opinion as to what they should sing.

Now in its fourth season, Glee is a musical comedy about a group of eager and ambitious students who strive to outshine their singing competition to win Nationals while navigating the cruel halls of McKinley High. Since its debut, Glee has become a bona fide cultural phenomenon, received prestigious honors including the Golden Globe and Peabody Award and singlehandedly Made Glee clubs cool again.
