GREASE is the word for groom Jared Basham, who decided to share his wedding vows with his bride Kyndra in a rather unique fashion.

During the couple's ceremony, Jared decided to forego traditional vows and instead whip out a pair of sunglasses and a mic to express his love musically.

"I vow to try and express how I feel to you in just the most creative and ludicrous ways, at the most inopportune times. Kind of like right now," he teased before breaking into "You're the One That I Want" from GREASE, "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran, "I Swear" by All-4-One and the Whitney Houston classic, "I Will Always Love You." The Broadway musical GREASE with music by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey premiered in 1971. Set in 1959 at fictional Rydell High School, the story follows ten working-class teenagers as they navigate the complexities of peer pressure, politics, personal core values, and love.

At the time that it closed in 1980, Grease's 3,388-performance run was the longest yet in Broadway history. It went on to become a West End hit, a hugely successful film, two popular Broadway revivals in 1994 and 2007. It remains Broadway's 15th longest-running show.
