VIDEO: Bette Midler Brings HOCUS POCUS to Life in Concert; Urges Disney for Sequel!

At her concert in Phoenix, AZ last night, legendary performer Bette Midler brought her classic Disney film HOCUS POCUS to life, performing the song, 'I Put a Spell On You'. At one point during the number, the Divine Miss M shouts, "I'm ready for my sequel, Mr. Disney!" Watch the performance below!

As recently announced, Disney World will mount a HOCUS POCUS stage show just in time for Halloween, running September 15-November 1, 2015 at the Magic Kingdom.

In a 2014 Q&A, Midler urged her fans to inundate Disney with requests for a sequel to the 1993 hit film HOCUS POCUS, in which she portrayed the witch Winfred. "You have to go to send in your cards to the Walt Disney company," said the 68-year-old diva. "The ball's in their court."

The actress went on to prove she was not joking as she added, "Inundate the Disney company, because I have canvassed the girls and they are willing to do it, but we have no say in it, so if you want a HOCUS POCUS 2, ask the Walt Disney company."

Midler released her first studio album in eight years, 'It's the Girls,' featuring songs from female groups who have had the greatest influence on her throughout her career. Covering seven decades of music beginning with the 1930's, the album will feature an array of girl groups including The Boswell Sisters, The Andrews Sisters and R&B LEGENDSTLC.

Midler appeared on Broadway in I'LL EAT YOU LAST, starring as the legendary Hollywood agent Mengers in her first Broadway appearance in almost 40 years. Written by John Logan, I'LL EAT YOU LAST was directed on Broadway by Joe Mantello.

Midler began her legendary career as an entertainer in 1965, in New York, where she developed the trademark act that would make her one of the most renowned talents of her generation. Her debut album, 1972's The Divine Miss M set her on the path that has led her to earn Grammys, Emmys, Golden Globes and Academy Award nominations in a career that has spanned over 40 years. She has toured the world, sold millions of albums, published two books and appeared in over two dozen films, including The Rose, Beaches, Ruthless People, Hocus Pocus, First Wives Club and For The Boys.
