For more than five decades, The Oak Ridge Boys have remained one of the most recognizable groups in American music, known for their signature four-part harmonies and dynamic live performances. The quartet — Duane Allen, Joe Bonsall, William Lee Golden, and Richard Sterban — rose from gospel roots dating back to the 1940s to become crossover country-pop stars with a string of chart-topping hits.
Among their best-known songs are “Elvira,” “Bobbie Sue,” “American Made,” and “Thank God for Kids.” Over the course of their career, the group has earned Grammy, CMA, ACM, and Dove Awards while releasing multiple gold and platinum-selling albums and scoring more than 30 Top Ten hits.
The Oak Ridge Boys have also collaborated with an array of legendary artists, including Johnny Cash, Paul Simon, George Jones, and Ray Charles.
