The Duplex Welcomes MAC Nominees for Concert, March 27

On Monday, March 27th at 9:30pm, The Duplex Cabaret Theatre will welcome the nominees for the 2006 MAC (Manhattan Association of Clubs and Cabarets) Award to its stage. Each of the nominees in the debut categories (Male Debut and Female Debut) will showcase selections from their nominated shows. 

Suzanne Fiore, Jasper Kump, Rosalyn McClore, Alisa Schiff, Matt Sigl and Evan Stern are the nominees who will perform.

MAC 2006: The Debuts, is a part of MAC Week, a special week of events at cabarets in New York City, highlighting the work of the nominated performers for this year's awards. The MAC Awards ceremony takes place on Monday, April 17th, at The Tribeca Performing Arts Center. For tickets, visit MAC's website at www.macnyc.com.

The presentation follows an encore performance of the MAC-nominated revue, We Miss Nancy: The Storefront Sings LaMott, which will be performed at 7pm, also on the 27th. "We Miss Nancy is a tribute to the late singer, performed by some of theatre and cabaret's finest talent," state press notes. The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located at 61 Christopher St., in the heart of New York's West Village. There is a $10 cover charge ($5 for members of MAC and Cabaret Hotline Online), as well as a two-drink minimum. No one under 21 will be permitted, and credit cards are accepted.
