Two of the season's oddest and most-fulfilling theatrical experiences are the focus of THEATER TALK at 12:30 AM, this Friday on Thirteen.

First we discuss the hit play THOM PAIN (based on nothing), now at The DR2 Theatre on 15th Street, with the unique and inscrutable, one-man's rant writer, Will Eno, along with director Hal Brooks and actor James Urbaniak who so successfully brings Eno's work to life.

Next up, we take a look at off-Broadway's mad, macabre and delightful "children's musical" at The Little Shubert, SHOCKHEADED PETER.

On tonight's THEATER TALK, the show's composer, Martyn Jacques sings a song from the show about the dreadful fate if young Harriet who played with matches, Harriet's story being one of the 19th century cautionary tales for children, written by Heinrich Hoffmann, which form the base of this unique and highly entertaining musical theater experience. Actress Tamzin Griffin, who plays Harriet in the show, also contributes to the merriment.

This episode of THEATER TALK will air twice, so please watch or set your digital devices for Friday at 12:30 AM (Saturday morning) or Monday morning at 5 AM, and give the show a look.
