THE STORYTELLER OF EAST LA Extended Again at Latino Theater Company

Latino Theater Company has announced a second one-week extension for the world premiere of THE STORYTELLER OF EAST L.A., adding four performances through May 31 at Los Angeles Theatre Center.

Written by Evelina Fernández and directed by Jose Luis Valenzuela, the production combines family drama and magical realism while exploring themes of memory loss, caregiving, and family resilience.

The cast includes Brenda Banda, Ruth Livier, Sal López, Zilah Mendoza, Blanca Isabella Pallini, and Lucy Rodriguez.

Performances run Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, located at 514 S. Spring Street in downtown Los Angeles.

Tickets

Tickets range from $10–$48, with discounted pricing available for students, seniors, veterans, and LAUSD teachers with valid ID. All Thursday evening performances are priced at $10. Free childcare is available during Sunday matinee performances.
