After six long years, the wait is finally over! BroadwayWorld has just learned that the musical web series The Battery's Down, which wrapped up its final season in late 2009, will return for a reunion special later this fall. The episode will premiere on October 20, along with a concert that night with performances from original cast members (and some very special guests).Be sure to check back in the coming weeks for a full trailer!

In the series, writer and creator Jake Wilson starred as a young performer who, along with his friends, navigates the world of showbiz in New York City and Los Angeles. Series regulars included Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Dani Spieler, Nina Sturtz and Cortney Wolfson. Some of the many guest stars over the two seasons included: Ariana Grande, Allison Janney, Whoopi Goldberg, John Gallagher Jr., Shoshana Bean, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Kyle Dean Massey, Tituss Burgess, Jennifer Cody, Jonathan Groff, Cheyenne Jackson and Kelli O'Hara.

The Battery's Down included original songs from Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, Jeanine Tesori and Dick Scanlan, Glen Kelly and Lisa Lambert, Laurence O'Keefe, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, David Kirshenbaum, Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen, Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk, Michael Patrick Walker, Nick Blaemire and more.
