Stephen J. Smith Resigns as Elizabeth Arden, Inc.'s Chief Financial Officer

Elizabeth Arden, Inc., a global prestige beauty products company, today announced that Stephen J. Smith has resigned as the Company's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in order to accept a position as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAIN) based in Lake Success, New York. Mr. Smith will remain with the Company through September 1, 2013. The Company has commenced a search for a new Chief Financial Officer.

Scott Beattie, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Elizabeth Arden, Inc., commented, "Steve has been a valuable member of our management team since he joined us in 2001, shortly after the Elizabeth Arden acquisition. Along with the strong finance and accounting team that Steve has built, he has been instrumental in managing the financial governance of our Company to very high standards.
