Spottiswoode & His Enemies will play four weekend late-night double-sets at the Living Room in New York City over alternate weekends in March and April. Two Fridays in March and two Saturdays in April. Each night, beginning at 11pm, will feature a completely different group of original songs reflecting the remarkably broad range of the seven-piece band and its English frontman's songwriting.

Friday, March 9th 11pm will be Rock and Roll Night. Spottiswoode & His Enemies will present greatest hits and songs from their ffth CD, Wild Goosechase Expedition. Showcasing the explosive rhythm section of Tim Vaill on drums and John Young on bass.

Lounge Night will be on Friday, March 23rd 11pm, highlighting the brassy lyricism of Kevin Cordt on trumpet and Candace DeBartoloon saxophone.

Saturday, April 7th 11pm will be Gospel Night. The band will be joined by a gospel backing chorus that includes Alexis England (Stevie Wonder) and Martha Redbone. www.martharedbone.com

Folk Night will be Saturday April 21st 11pm. The band will present pastoral ballads and anthems from their next CD, which is due for release in late 2012. Tony Lauria will play accordion and producer Riley McMahon the mandolin.
