Shatter the Glass Productions and The Sidekick Troupe Launch Flash Sale for THE FEAR YOU ENACT and BARBIE FEST

Shatter the Glass Productions and The Sidekick Troupe have joined together with a special flash sale May 8th-11th for $5 off both their shows. Simply use code BARBENACT at checkout.

The Fear You Enact is set at the height of McCarthyism in 1953, and explores fear, surveillance, and queer resistance in a world where those deemed "un-American" are forced to navigate life under constant watch.

Written by Nash Johns and directed by Graydon Gund, with Treshelle Edmond (Glee, Master of None, Deaf West's Spring Awakening) serving as Director of Interpreting, The Fear You Enact will be presented at the Brick Studio Theatre at the Chain Theatre on May 16 at 2 pm and 7:30 pm and May 17 at 2 pm (ASL-interpreted performance). This staged reading is produced by Adriana Nocco and Emily J. Whalen on behalf of Shatter The Glass Productions, alongside Nash Johns on behalf of Nashley Tisdale Productions, with Henry Dougherty and Christian Scofield serving as associate producers.

The cast features Ida Mihok, Stephanie Greenwood, Bailor Allen, Angela (Antione) Gray Jr., Ashlyn Baralt, Carlos Golde, Josh Ryan, Michael DeRosa, J.P. Gates, and Connor Van Deman, with choreography by Rosie Corr.

Barbie Fest: The Screen to Stage Parodies of Princess and the Pauper and The Three Musketeers is... exactly that! After two successful runs at New York Theater Festival, The Sidekick Troupe is bringing these beloved Barbie classics back to the stage for a weekend of comedy, girl power, and a whole lot of pink. Barbie Fest will run May 21st-24th at The Chain Theatre. Tickets can either be purchased for one of the shows or a special Friday night ticket that performs both shows back to back.

Both scripts were adapted by Maeve Kelley Baker with direction by herself and Rachel Baransky. Music direction by Brett Miller and Andrew Caira, Choreography by Lexi Houghton, Fight Choreography Mackenzie Grace, with Stage Management by Violet Woundy.

The cast includes Kristin Wolf, Emily "Lee" Simes, Hannah Herbert-Hunt, Aaron Clark Burstein, Fara Faidzan, Andrew Caira, Abi Charbonneau, Alei Russo, Erin Grassner, Lexi Houghton, Tearzah Harrel, Mackenzie Grace, Lora Margerum, Brett Miller, Artemis Zara Gultekin, Maura Rygg, and Abril Lopez.
