Serious Theatre Collective Opens PROFESSOR VON AWESOME'S GHOST HUNTING SAFARI Tonight

Serious Theatre Collective, winner of the 2012 FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award for Best Ensemble, is proud to present the world premiere of Professor von Awesome's Ghost Hunting Safari, Fridays and Saturdays in October at 8pm at the Parkside Lounge, 317 E. Houston St., New York, NY 10002. Tickets are $15, sold in cash at the door.

Written collaboratively by Serious Theatre Collective, Professor von Awesome's Ghost Hunting Safari is an adventure of epic theatrical proportions including music, puppetry, burlesque and necromancy- featuring passages from the Book of the Dead and, perhaps even, all the secrets of death revealed.

Original score accompanied by a live band featuring Andrew Hollis and Will Kitchin, led by Ari Kessler. Props, sets, masks, and puppets by visual artists Ursula and Norm Stuby.

Serious Theatre Collective is a group of playwrights, actors, musicians, and artists who strive to make original, high-quality, affordable theater that is accessible, remarkably entertaining, surprising and fun.
