Golden Globe-award winner and Emmy- and Tony-nominated actor Scott Bakula, who starred on Broadway in Romance/Romance and is familiar to TV audiences from his series "Quantum Leap" and "Enterprise," will star as David in the final Reprise! Broadway's Best production of its 2006-2007 season - Richard Rodgers's 2962 musical No Strings, running May 8th through 20th.

The show will feature with musical direction by Gerald Sternbach and direction by Kay Cole (City of Angels, Judy's Scary Little Christmas). No Strings will also feature costume design by the legendary Bob Mackie and Joe McFate.

No Strings, which features music and lyrics by Richard Rodgers and a book by Samuel Taylor, will be directed by Kay Cole. "Set in Paris, this is a beautiful bittersweet story of two Americans, a Pulitzer Prize winning author turned drifter and a glamorous high-fashion model, whose paths cross and send them on a romantic adventure. The touching and haunting score, sprinkled with an air of Parisian sophistication, ranges from the jazz-infused 'Eager Beaver' to memorable ballads like 'The Sweetest Sounds.' A Tony Award Winner for Best Score, this was the first musical for which Rodgers wrote both lyrics and music."

Bakula has also been seen on Broadway in Is There Life After High School? and Marilyn, as well as Off-Broadway in 3 Guys Naked from the Waist Down.  Other film and TV credits include Life as a House, Above Suspicion, American Beauty, "Murphy Brown" and Lord of Illusions.
