Sabrina Lastman Quintet featuring Uruguayan vocalist/composer Sabrina Lastman("Perennially eclectic and innovative." Lucid Culture), Argentinian pianist Emilio Solla("Music of such beauty that it transcends boundaries of style to become a classic." All About Jazz), American double bassist Edward Perez ("handles the bass with great dexterity." "Telling a story in song does not require words. Of course, if you are a singer, you might then need an exceptional vocal instrument, imagination, and a willingness to walk on tightropes - all of which brings us to Uruguayan-born singer and composer Sabrina Lastman." - Fernando Gonzalez is a regular contributor to The International Review of Music, Jazz Times & The Miami Herald.

The Sabrina Lastman Quintet is an innovative music project that brings together jazz, South American rhythms with African roots like Candombe (Afro-Uruguayan), and contemporary music. This project represents the many influences that vocalist/composer Sabrina Lastman has received, while living in her home country Uruguay, in Israel, and in New York. The Quintet plays original compositions, and arrangements of music by Latin American composers. As a vocalist, Sabrina expands the possibilities of the voice, finding a rich variety of sonorities, colors, and textures.
