SUCCESS At The Broadway Star Project's Callback Challenge

The air was electrifying last Sunday at the final event of The Broadway Star Project's eight-week program where young musical theatre artists learn how to master the audition process.

The Callback Challenge's final event was a showcase in the form of a callback audition. The casting team presided by Casting Director Tracey Moore, Director Mark Schneider, Choreographer JoAnn M. Hunter, and lead by special guest, Talent Agent Nancy Carson, gave the participants interesting adjustments, honest comments and valuable advice that was most appreciated both by students and parents alike.

"By the end of Callback Challenge, two of our students had booked roles in film, three of them participated in a music video of a Latin music star, and another three got representation offers from different agents" said Coty Manriquez, Director of Admissions at The BSP, "We are very pleased with the results of the Callback Challenge, we put our hearts into it and it showed". Ms. Manriquez finished promising to "continue doing our best to make each and every one of our programs a unique and fulfilling learning experience".

The Broadway Star Project is holding auditions and scholarship opportunities for their next two programs; The Cast Recording Experience (3-day workshop) and The Broadway Star Experience (Summer Camp). To learn more, visit TheBroadwayStarProject.com.
