Get a first look at the festival award-winning documentary Wild Horse, Wild Ride with the film's first clip, "The Competition" below! It's not just for horse or documentary lovers, but it gives the audience a glance at the emotions that go in to training and caring for a wild mustang, only to say goodbye in the end.

WILD HORSE, WILD RIDE tells the story of the Extreme Mustang Makeover Challenge, an annual contest that dares 100 people to each tame a totally wild mustang in order to get it adopted into a better life beyond federal corrals. Stunning and poignant, Alex Dawson and Greg Gricus’ debut feature documentary chronicles a handful of unforgettable characters from their first uneasy meeting with their horses and over three months as they attempt to transform from scared strangers to the closest of companions.

Screen Media Films will release the documentary theatrically on August 24, 2012. Directed by Alex Dawson and Greg Gricus, it stars Wylene Wilson, Jesus Jauregui, George Gregory, Evelyn Gregory, Charles Chee, Carlos Chee, Melissa Kanzelberger, Nik Kokal, and Kris Kokal.

Running time is 106 minutes. Rating: PG. For more information, visit www.wildhorsewildride.com or find the film on Facebook.
