On tonight's episode of the CW drama ONE TREE HILL, entitled 'Last Known Surroundings', actor Chad Michael Murray returns to the show in which he began his career in a guest starring appearance. Austin Nichols will direct the special episode.

In the episode, Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) seeks help from Lucas (guest star Murray) as Nathan (James Lafferty) makes an escape attempt. Brooke (Sophia Bush) comes face-to-face with Xavier (guest star Devin McGee). Juliain (Austin Nichols) uncovers evidence that assists Dan (Paul Johansson) in his search for Nathan. Clay (RoBert Buckley) makes a connection with another patient.

Following a fictional four year jump in time, ONE TREE HILL has now spent four seasons exploring the experiences of twenty-somethings. Season nine continues to grow and break new ground, as the show approaches the rarified air of 200 episodes.

The series stars James Lafferty as Nathan Scott, Sophia Bush as Brooke Davis, Bethany Joy Galeotti as Haley James Scott, RoBert Buckley as Clay Evans, Austin Nichols as Julian Baker, Shantel VanSanten as Quinn James and Jackson Brundage as Jamie Scott. ONE TREE HILL was created by Mark Schwahn and is executive produced by Schwahn, Joe Davola, Greg Prange, Mike Tollin and Brian Robbins.
