Lindsay Lohan appeared in an exclusive interview with Matt Lauer on this morning's edition of TODAY on NBC. The actress confirmed that she has been cast in the role of the legendary movie star Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming biopic for the Lifetime network.  Lohan also shared news about her romantic life and her mandatory work experience at the local morgue.

When Lauer asked the actress how confident she was that her troubled past, filled with substance abuse and run-ins with the law, were behind her, the 25-year-old replied,  "I could see where it could be scary for people to invest in me. I don't want people to have that reason to be scared anymore." She continued, "If I harped on that and only focused on the negative and the people that doubted me, then I might be right back where they think I'll be. But that's not what I want for me.... I don't want to go back to that place. I want to move forward with my life."

Lindsay Lohan is set to host NBC's Saturday Night Live this Saturday, March 3 at 11:30/10:30c.
