HEDWIG Tony winner Lena Hall dropped some exciting news about her rock band The Deafening today, writing on Facebook, "Oh how I miss head banging! For those of you wondering we The Deafening are working on a double album!!!" To celebrate the announcement, check out footage from the band's recent concert at the Gramercy Theatre!

When not on the Broadway stage, Lena performs with her hard rock band The Deafening, which features Hall on vocals with Burt Rock and Dylan Doyle on guitar, Tommy Mokas on bass, and Mick Harrison on drums. CENTRAL BOOKING is The Deafening's first full-length album. No word yet on when their new double album will be released, but BWW will keep you posted!

In 2015 Lena Hall completed her critically acclaimed run starring as 'Yitzhak' in the hit Broadway revival of HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. For the role she was awarded the 2014 Tony Award for Featured Actress in a Musical and was nominated for a Grammy. Prior to HEDWIG, she starred as 'Nicola' in the Tony Award winning musical KINKY BOOTS.

Previous Broadway and Off-Broadway roles include starring in the award-winning TOXIC AVENGER at New World Stages, TARZAN (Original Cast), DRACULA (Original Cast), 42ND STREET (Anytime Annie), CATS (Demeter), BEG BUGS (NYMF) and GREEN EYES (Fringe). TV and film roles include upcoming guest roles on HBO's GIRLS, Good Girls REVOLT (Amazon Prime), and MY LITTLE PONY FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC. In 2015 her solo musical show SIN & SALVATION ran for two weeks at the legendary Carlyle Hotel, which was recorded for her debut live album released on September 28th, 2015.
