STAGE TUBE: Jennifer Hudson Pays Tribute to Those Lost with Shaiman, Wittman Song

In an elegant tribute to those lost in the film community this past year, Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson sang "I Can't Let Go" by Broadway's Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (HAIRSPRAY, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, SMASH). Check out the video.

To open the segment Meryl Streep introduced a touching video montage of some of those Hollywood lost this year.

Hudson debuted "I Can't Let Go" on NBC's musical drama SMASH in 2013. Hudson is scheduled to make her Broadway debut later this year in a revival of THE COLOR PURPLE.
