A final video taken 13 days ago and a new book featuring the last Ziegfeld Follies performer, Doris Eaton Travis, is now available. Travis died yesterday at her home in Commerce, Michigan. She was 106.

The video and book offer personal anecdotes from this historic and beloved performer in her own words. The video was filmed on April 29, 2010, with author Stuart Lutz at Barnes & Noble, 82nd and Broadway, New York City, to promote The Last Leaf: Voices of History's Last-Known Survivors (Prometheus Books, March 2010), in which her personal story was featured among dozens of other last witnesses to historical events.

In the interview Travis says she "loved" dancing at the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Easter Bonnett Competition - her last on-stage appearance at Broadway's Minskoff Theatre On April 26, 2010.
