NEWsical the Musical, the 2011 winner of the Off-Broadway Alliance Award, recently celebrated its 2000th performance at Theatre Row. Now in its 5th smash year, NEWSical is New York's ever-evolving musical mockery of all the news that's fit to spoof.

Christine Pedi is a Drama Desk nominee who can be heard daily on Sirius XM's On Broadway. She made her Broadway debut in Little Me, was featured in Talk Radio, and was most recently seen in Chicago as Mama Morton. For the past 5 years she has appeared in NEWSical the Musical, has been seen in several Forbidden Broadways, and numerous cabaret and nightlife appearances.

NEWSical is proudly produced by Tom D'Angora and was created by and written by Rick Crom (Urinetown) with direction by Mark Waldrop (When Pigs Fly, My Deah, Papermill Playhouse's Gypsy) and music direction by Ed Goldschneider, and is currently stage managed by Krystal Roccaro. It was named Best New Musical of 2011 by the Off Broadway Alliance.

NEWSical The Musical plays at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street). Show times are Monday 8:15pm, Tuesday 8:15pm, Friday 8:15pm, Saturday 3pm & 8:15pm, and Sunday 7:30pm.
