ALADDIN's Broadway League 2016 softball team, The Arabian Strikes, celebrated their recent victory over HAMILTON with a hilariously clever parody of the rival show's opening number. Check it out below!
"How does a Broadway, softball, co-ed team
Win every single game since they burst upon the scene
Sweeping up the Tonys, eight a week bring down the house
Show up to Central Park and lose their streak to a mouse?
"The ten dollar make ya holler when ya win their lotto
Swung a lot harder, and ran a lot farther
They brought a cheer squad and even with the team's startups,
They were ballin'
By the end they seemed to find themselves downtrodden
"And everyday from here on 'til the next game they'll train and rack their brains about the game they should've slaughtered.
Inside of every heart of all the other show league teams sparked a dream of a shot to see a finals victory!
"The game has now changed, no undefeated reign
Every team is now hunt, hunting for the title claim
Gonna lace up nice and tight for the starting playoff game
Not throwing away their shot for the trophy with their name
You can hear the shouts across midtown of Hamilton's defeat
This is their first lost ever will it end up a repeat?
Broadway League will never be the same!
