SEASIDE, a Thriller Starring A BRONX TALE and HAMILTON's Ariana Debose, Launches Kickstarter

It's been a big year for Ariana DeBose! In addition to playing The Bullet in Hamilton and starring in A Bronx Tale, the rising star found time to film Seaside, a feature-length thriller set on the coast of Oregon. Debose announced via her Instagram today that they film has launched a Kickstarter to raise funds for finishing the film.

Director Sam Zalutsky described the film as, "Inspired by 50s noir, early Roman Polanski films, Body Heat, and French films like Strangers by the Lake and See the Sea, I wanted to create a movie full of TWISTS AND TURNS where nothing (and no one) is exactly what it seems. These stories are both entertaining and important, exploring the idea that we are all complex, complicated people.
