Rocket Dog Names Jim Kennedy VP of Domestic Sales

Rocket Dog continues to strengthen its organization with the announcement of Jim Kennedy as Vice President of Domestic Sales for JC Penney, Kohls, and Dillards department stores.

Kennedy brings nearly 20 years of sales and strategic management experience to Rocket Dog. In his position at Rocket Dog he will work closely with the vice presidents of forecasting/planning and design/product development on assortment needs forthese accounts, and be a key member of the senior management strategic team.

He comes to Rocket Dog from Converse, where he acted as the Director of Sales - Department Stores and led and managed his teams working closely with JC Penney and Kohls. Kennedy was responsible for all go-to market strategies and analysis driving growth and key seasonal offering initiatives, delivering significant increases and results for these important businesses.

Prior to Converse Jim worked in senior sales roles for both Wolverine Worldwide and Timberland.

Kennedy will be based out of his home office in Virginia, as well as both the Los Angeles, and New York Rocket Dog offices. He will officially join Rocket Dog on January 7th and will report to Cathy Taylor.
