On Sunday, April 22, 2012, Time Out Lounge at New World Stages will play host to "By Your Side," a musical showcase featuring singer/songwriter Drew Overcash.

The evening will include music from "Boys Vs. Girls" and "Joe," both written by Drew Overcash, with most of the music never-before-publicly performed. Some of Broadway's most exciting talent will be the first, including: Richard H. Blake (Wicked), Nick Cartell (Jesus Christ Superstar), Meggie Cansler (Finian's Rainbow), Danielle Jordan (Follies), Rebecca Larkin (Avenue Q & South Pacific), Matt Lutz (Bonnie & Clyde), Kimberly Marable (Sister Act), Nic Rouleau (The Book of Mormon), BranDon Chandler, Katherine Wright, Kiley McDonald and Molly Smith. The singers with be accompanied by Drew Overcash on piano, Bobbie Lee Crow III on cello, Will Dietzler on guitar and Cody Rahn on percussion.

Drew Overcash is currently in development on both musicals. "Boys Vs. Girls" tells the tale of the stereotypes we associate ourselves with when we are young and the struggle of breaking out of them. "Joe" is based on a true story about one family's struggle with their eldest son's diagnosis of cancer and facing their own demons as their strength and love is tested through the most difficult of situations. You can learn more about his music and make inquiries at www.drewovercash.com.

The concert will take place on Sunday, April 22nd at 9:30pm at the Time Out Lounge, located at New World Stages, 340 W. 50th St. (between 8th & 9th Avenue). There is a $10 cover at the doors which open at 9:15pm. For more information or to learn more about events at Time Out Lounge, visit www.timeoutnylounge.com.
