Rekapse Performs at Tammany Hall, 12/16

Pop-rock sensation, REKAPSE, will be performing in New York City next Thursday, December 16th at Tammany Hall. REKAPSE, a band comprised of 3 siblings and 2 close friends, is the next group to add their name to the list of prominent artists from North America who have emerged in recent years. With perfect pop sensibility, infectious melody and harmony, the music of Rekapse is more than ready to expand beyond the borders and reach music lovers everywhere.
 
Stacie Bollmann (vocals), the youngest of the sibling trio, brings refinement to the band with her beautiful melodies and unmatched vocal stylings. David Bollmann (vocals, keyboards, and rhodes) balances out Stacie's vocal power with a soft tenor presence, while his use of unexpected, yet familiar chord progressions and soundscapes bring a refreshing alternative to The Common interaction between keyboards and rock n' roll.  Kelly Bollmann (guitar) has studied the tones of some of his favorite bands (U2, Radiohead, United) to add a warm, ambient guitar presence that perfectly compliments Stacie and David's melodies.  Matt Osborn (drums) and Stephen Lee (bass) bring a groove intensive focus to the band's songwriting that finalizes their sound and sets them apart from every other rock band on the scene today.
 
REKAPSE has built a substantial following on the east coast and plans to spend the next several months touring and performing on the release of their latest self titled EP, with the intention to bring new fans into the fold.  With every show, REKAPSE hones their sound and finds a greater connection to inspiration and creativity, which has carried over to their songwriting. It is this chemistry that keeps REKAPSE together and sets them apart from their peers.
Currently working on new material, the band is anxious to share with the world a sound that is definitively their own. The combination of musical energy between brothers and Stacie's bold charisma earned them instant attention; particularly from music vet Jerry Blair of Global Entertainment Management who signed the band and put them to work recording their debut. REKAPSE went into the studio with Nashville based producer Paul Moak (Mat Kearney, Toby Mac, Hillary Duff) and blew Moak away with their sincerity and enthusiasm.
