Quintet Of The Americas In Concert to Take Place at Brooklyn’s Devoción Williamsburg

Quintet of the Americas, Queens' renowned woodwind quintet, will present a concert on Wednesday, May 27 at 8:00 PM at Devoción Williamsburg, 148 Grand St. in Brooklyn The event is presented by AndeArte in cooperation with American Composers Forum. The program will be a celebration of new music by emerging Latino composers including Colombian composers Natalia Camargo Duarte, César Corredor Camacho, and Luis Aconcha Torres, Costa Rican composer Sergio Delgado, Mexican composer Gabriela Ortiz and Cuban composer Jorge Amado.

Performers will be Kim O'Hare Bonacorsa, flute; Andrés Ayola, oboe; David Valbuena, clarinet: Barbara Oldham, horn, Alexander Davis, bassoon.
