The opening night performance of HELL’S KITCHEN at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre delivered an unforgettable evening for Los Angeles audiences, highlighted by a special appearance from Alicia Keys. Check out the photos!

Ahead of the performance, Keys celebrated the show’s highly anticipated Los Angeles opening by walking the red carpet alongside her husband, Swizz Beatz, and her mother. While speaking with press, Keys reflected on the universal themes woven throughout HELL’S KITCHEN, sharing that audiences from all walks of life — especially in Los Angeles — would see themselves in the story and connect with it in personal and meaningful ways. She also spoke about the excitement of audiences experiencing her iconic music through an entirely new lens within the context of the production.

Following the company’s final bows, Keys surprised theatergoers by joining the cast of the national tour onstage during curtain call. She praised the extraordinary cast and creative team behind the production while sharing why bringing HELL’S KITCHEN to Los Angeles held such special meaning. During her remarks, Keys also gave a heartfelt shoutout to her mother, whose relationship with Keys helped inspire the emotional mother-daughter dynamic at the center of the show.

Keys then remained onstage to personally greet and congratulate the full company of HELL’S KITCHEN on their outstanding performances before posing for a commemorative group photo with the cast.

The North American Tour of HELL’S KITCHEN stars Maya Drake as Ali, Kennedy Caughell as Jersey, Roz White as Miss Liza Jane, Desmond Sean Ellington as Davis, and JonAvery Worrell as Knuck. Joining them on stage will be Stemarciae Bain, Miya Bass, Jaylen T. Bryant, Rashada Dawan, Sherée Marcelle Dunwell, ’Zaiah Ellis, Mae-Lynn Flores, Marques Furr, Destini Hendricks, Jeffrey May Hyche, Alfred Jackson, GiGi Lewis, Christopher Miller, Usman Ali Mughal, Chikezie Nwankwo, Sangeetha “Sang” Santhebennur, Marley Soleil, Beda Spindola, Asten Stewart, Teetee, Sydney Townsend, Timothy Wilson, and Ethan Zundell. Together, this company brings Alicia Keys’ music and Kristoffer Diaz’s story to vibrant life in cities across the country. 

HELL’S KITCHEN is currently playing at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, CA through June 21.
