The Blossom Company will present Animals as part of the 11th annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC.  It will run at the Connelly Theatre (E. 4th St., between A and B) from August 10th through 24th.  Photos of the play's stars were recently taken at a rehearsal of Animals.

"Renowned director Kevin Kittle brings this exceedingly fun, thought provoking, romp to life utilizing the rising talents of young up and comers, Ryan O'Nan (Equus, Tartuffe), Michael Hirsteet (War in Paramus for HP Playwrights) and Erin Mortensen (Cloud 9, Much Ado About Nothing). Stephanie Caraglino serves as Stage Manager and Ryan J. Davis ("Breaking In" and White Noise) produces," state press notes. The play is described by its author, actor Ryan O'Nan, as follows: "Where pigs are heroes, men are flies, birds are apathetic, unicorns are barred from the ark due to their sexual preference, and three cows hatch a daring escape plan to India, you will find the hilarious, existential comedy of Animals!"

Tickets are $15.  Visit www.FringeNYC.org or call in New York: (212) 279-4488 or Outside New York: 1-888-FringeNYC.
