TONY Nominee Billy Magnussen (Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Disney's Into The Woods) is the latest featured artist in The Creative Faces Project: an evolving portrait and interview collective celebrating artists who inspire the New York Stage. His photos and interview, published Tuesday, January 27th, can be viewed on The Creative Faces Project website: www.thecreativefacesproject.com

"Billy is an electric performer. I remember being a reader at an audition of his years ago and he was unlike anyone who stepped in the room. Then seeing him in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, I knew that this perfect roll was going to change his life - and it did. When he agreed to be a part of The Creative Faces Project, I had ideas of what the pictures were going to be like based on the work I have seen from him, but in the room he was much more subdued, contemplative and existential than I ever expected. That is what I love about his photos: there was no pretense, he gave me an honest moment." -Jason Zeren: Photographer and Curator of The Creative Faces Project

Upcoming Artists for The Creative Faces Project include TONY nominee Bryce Pinkham (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, The Heidi Chronicles), TONY and Emmy Award winner Alan Cumming (Cabaret, Macbeth, CBS's The Good Wife), and TONY Award winner Laura Benanti (Gypsy, In the Next Room/The Vibrator Play, ABC's Nashville).
