After selling out many of the performances Off Broadway, Jeffrey Fiske announces that The Screwtape Letters will extend into the New Year now closing January 6.  This extension does not come as a surprise as the initial production of The Screwtape Letters opened at Theatre 315 in NYC in January 2006 for a limited three week run but, due to popular demand, ran for eleven sold-out weeks.

The Screwtape Letters opened November 8th and was originally scheduled to close December 9.

"C. S. Lewis' brilliant novel explores the spiritual warfare of souls between heaven and hell as told from demons' point of view. Beloved by both audiences and critics alike, The Screwtape Letters on stage offers a humorous and thought-provoking tale that could change the way you think about the influence of angels and demons in individual lives," explain press notes, "When first published in 1942, The Screwtape Letters brought immediate fame to a little known Oxford don whose field of study was medieval English literature. Over the past sixty years its wit and wisdom have made it one of C. S. Lewis' most widely read and influential works."  For details visit www.ScrewtapeOnStage.com

Playing schedule is Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8PN; Saturday 4PM and Sundays at 3PM & 7PM (After December 9 there will be no Sunday evening Performance)

Tickets are $48 and are available at  www.ticketcentral.com or by calling 212-279-4200.
