Man Down Productions reunites director, Andrew Block (Ovation Award, Small Engine Repair) and playwright Mark Jason Williams for the 19th Annual New York International Fringe Festival, with award-winning drama, Straight Faced Lies. A highlighted production of the festival, Straight Faced Lies will play at The Teatro LATEA at the Clemente (107 Suffolk St) beginning Friday, August 14 - Thursday, August 27, 2015. The New York cast features Geraldine Librandi ("The Sopranos"; Handle With Care), Joey Collins (Broadway: The Glass Menagerie; Off-Broadway: Bug), Dana Domenick (Illuminati - Planet Connections Award, Outstanding Lead Actress), Cindy Marchionda (City Center Encores: The Apple Tree; Joseph Jefferson Award Best Actress in Kiss of the Spider Woman), Jacob Thompson (Olympus Records - FringeNYC), and Curtis Wiley (Off Broadway: Pageant - The Musical). Straight Faced Lies had its premiere in Planet Connections in 2013, where it received the Award for Outstanding Playwriting, and comes to The New York International Fringe Festival with a new cast and director. The play is also getting a production as part of the 2015 DC Fringe.
