Kin Dance Company in Association with Full-Amo Productions, will present the new musical Down Around Brown Town. Conceived, directed and choreographed by Frit and Frat Fuller (co-artistic directors of Kin Dance Company), the musical celebrates the music of the late legendary Godfather of Soul, James Brown.

"With a pre-recorded introduction by Blair Underwood (Madea's Family Reunion, City of Angels, 'LA Law'), as well as a testimonial from Dorian Harewood (Assault on Precinct 13, '7th Heaven,' 'Kevin Hill'), music provided by The James Brown Band with guest vocals from Sean McNab (Quiet Riot, Great White) to name a few, this musical combines dance, song, text and a whole lot of soul in an evening of pure entertainment and joy," state press materials.

The show runs: Thursday, July 5, 2007 - 8:00pm, Friday, July 6, 2007 - 8:00pm, and Saturday, July 7, 2007 - 4:00pm and 8:00pm at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center (4718 W. Washington Blvd.) in Los Angeles.
