The 2010-2011 National Tour of A CHORUS LINE had a very special audience member on Saturday, November 6: original star Donna McKechnie. McKechnie, who created the role of "Cassie" in the original Broadway production, was in South Bend, IN for the weekend performing her acclaimed solo show "My Musical Comedy Life."
In A CHORUS LINE, Broadway gypsies bare their souls and put their lives "on the line" as they audition for an unnamed Broadway musical. The 1975 show won the Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for Best Musical. The score includes "What I Did for Love," "The Music and the Mirror," "At the Ballet" and "Dance Ten, Looks Three."
