Photo Coverage: Zadan, Meron & Blonsky Honored at Motion Pic

The Motion Picture Club celebrated its 67th Annual Awards & Installation Luncheon at the Marriott Marquee Ballroom in New York on October 11, 2007.

In attendance were Producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (Chicago and Hairspray movies), Claire Danes and Jefferson Mays (Pygmalion), Phylicia Rashad (Gem of the Ocean), Nikki Blonsky (Hairspray movie), Emile Hirsch and Sylvia Miles.

Awards were given out, at the Motion Picture Club luncheon, to: Nikki Blonsky as Female Star of Tomorrow (presented by HAIRSPRAY film producers Zadan and Meron), Emile Hirsch as Male Star of Tomorrow (by Marcia Gay Harden), Claire Danes as Star of the Year (by Jefferson Mays) and to Craig Zadan and Neil Meron as Producers of the Year (presented by Phylicia Rashad, soon to appear in the pairs A RAISIN IN THE SUN).

The Motion Picture Club website describes: "The MPC includes people from all areas of the motion picture industry - exhibition, distribution, advertising and other related businesses.  Presently, MPC is a thriving organization of 350 film business professionals throughout America and raises funds for film industry-related charities.  Each year the MPC makes substantial contributions to Variety-The Children's Charity, The Will Rogers Memorial Fund, The Motion Picture Pioneers and The Ronald McDonald House.
