After a sold-out engagement at Birdland this fall, two-time Tony Award-nominee and Emmy Award-winner Penny Fuller will return to the historic venue (at 315 West 44th Street) on Monday, March 6th at 7 PM with An Evening with Penny Fuller.

Directed by Barry Kleinbort with David Gaines as musical director, Fuller will perform songs from some of her Broadway musicals as well as standards and little known gems from the Great American Songbook.

Fuller received Tony nominations for her work in Applause and The Dinner Party as well as the Emmy Award for "The Elephant Man." Other recent theater credits include Five by Tenn, New England and Three Viewings (Drama Desk nomination) at Manhattan Theatre Club; A New Brain and An American Daughter at Lincoln Center Theater; Beautiful Child at the Vineyard Theater, and The Glass Menagerie at Charlotte Rep in her native North Carolina; she received the Drama Critics Circle Award for her work in the LA production of Betrayal. She has appeared on TV in such shows as "Mad About You," "Law and Order," "Judging Amy" and "NYPD Blue."
