Fiddler on the Roof's Patrick Heusinger will be put under the Broadway Spotlight on October 10th at 8 PM as his show at Ars Nova (511 W. 54th St.) launches the third season of the series that gives new Broadway talents a chance to shine center stage.

The evening will also feature Lucas Papaelias, who is Heusinger's writing partner.  The two will sing some of the songs they have written together.

Heusinger currently appears as Fyedka in the revival of Fiddler on the Roof; the show marks his Broadway debut.  A Julliard graduate, he will soon make his film debut in Sweet Land, which co-stars Alan Cumming, Ned Beatty and Lois Smith.  He is also working on a play based on the life of Jeff Buckley, the singer-songwriter who tragically drowned at the age of 30.

Curated by Gordon Greenberg, Broadway Spotlight's guest last season included Jesse Tyler Ferguson (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Barrett Foa (Avenue Q), Megan Hilty (Wicked) and Shayna Steele (Hairspray).  The acclaimed monthly event has previously hosted Broadway notables such as Idina Menzel (Wicked), John Tartaglia (Avenue Q), Anthony Rapp (Rent), Julia Murney (Lennon) and Billy Porter (Grease).
