PIPPIN's Carly Hughes to Make Solo Debut at 54 Below Next Month

With eight Broadway shows to her name, Carly Hughes has quickly established herself as a recognizable talent, both onstage and off. Carly most recently starred on Broadway as Velma Kelly in Chicago and as The Leading Player in Pippin. A recipient of the prestigious Princess Grace Awards, her other Broadway credits include Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, The Book of Mormon, Ghost, Ragtime, 25th Annual Putname County Spelling Bee and The Grinch. Carly is also featured in the upcoming movie adaptation of Ahrens & Flaherty's musical, Lucky Stiff.

Featuring musical direction by Sonny Paladino (Associate Conductor of Pippin and Music Supervisor for Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 and Associate Conductor and Keyboard player for The Last Ship) and arrangements by Sonny Paladino and Joe Drymala (Sky's End, Street Lights, White Noise and Edenville).
Carly Live plays 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 9:30pm, cover charges begin at $30 plus a $25 food and beverage minimum.
