No Name Comedy/Variety Show producer Eric Vetter brings New York's best established and emerging authors and storytellers including: Jean Le Bec (Moth Story Slam Champ); Jennifer Glick("Talkingstick" @ The Rubin Museum of Art); John Asante (The Moth, NPR"s "Talk Of The Nation"); Julie Threlkeld ("Modern Stories Mix" podcast) and Thomas Pryor ("I Hate the Dallas Cowboys: tales of a scrappy New York boyhood" - YBK Publishers) to the Word Up Community Bookshop in Washington Heights on Tuesday, June 6 @ 7:00pm for its monthly series "No Name @Word Up Super Storytellers Edition."

This month's theme is Sayonara: Stories about leave-takings, bon voyages, goodbyes and moving ons. Going off to school, breaking off a friendship or relationship or being broken up with, quitting a job or getting fired, leaving home, going out for that pack of cigarettes or....

Super Storytellers is curated and co-hosted by author/storyteller Michele Carlo, the author of FISH OUT OF AGUA: My life on neither side of the (subway) tracks, (Citadel Press). The show will also include a "Magic Hat Open-Mic" where audience members can sign up for a chance at four minutes of stage time to share their own stories. Admission is FREE, donations welcomed.
