More than twenty great stars coming from worlds as diverse as Broadway, television, R & B, cabaret, comedy, jazz, and country will convene at The Town Hall this Monday, January 28 at 7PM  to celebrate The 2008 Nightlife Awards.

R & B star Phoebe Snow, beloved actress Sandy Duncan, award-winning comedian John Mulaney, and acclaimed jazz performer Anat Cohen join an already stellar cast that features such famous talents as Lucie Arnaz, Charles Busch, Bill Charlap, Julie Halston, Bill Irwin, Marilyn Maye, Jessica Molaskey, John Pizzarelli, Carol Sloane, Sandy Stewart, Lari White, and more!

Hosted by three-time Emmy Award-winner Bruce Vilanch, the evening offers a stunning display of wildly diverse talents and will be directed this year by a master of one-night only extravaganzas, Carl Andress.

The only award show without acceptance speeches – the winners perform to show why they were chosen – celebrates its sixth annual edition. The Nightlife Awards are chosen by twenty-eight members of the press and other experts who cover New York nightlife.  The evening consists of performances by the winners as well as a number of special guest stars.

Tickets to The Nightlife Awards are $75, $50, $25 and can be purchased via TicketMaster.com or by calling 212-307-4100.  They are also available at The Town Hall box office at 123 W. 43rd Street, NYC (open from noon to 6 PM except on Sundays).
