NewFilmmakers NY to Screen Anthology Film Archives, 4/13

The NewFilmmakers NY Series screens at Anthology Film Archives on the Lower East Side at 32 Second Avenue & 2nd Street. NewFilmmakers LA screens in the Stanley Kramer Theater at the Sunset Gower Studio. Many features screened at NewFilmmakers are now available on NewFilmmakers Online.

New York Yankees Opening Day 2011

The 2011 NY Yankees home opener against the Detroit Tigers was Thursday, March 31st, 2011. The great multitude of Yankees fans eagerly anticipate the start of another exciting season at the New Yankee Stadium. Join us for a short film that takes place on this important day for baseball fans.

6:15 PM Special Program

CJ Richter PEOPLE YOU MAY KNOW
PEOPLE YOU MAY KNOW is a web series still in production. So far, only the pilot has been shot, with a special ending. We will screen the first episode of a five episode series about three former college friends. The archetypal characters (a struggling musican, a successful banker, an artist on the brink) reunite in New York and work out their undefined relationships once and for all.

7:00 PM Animation Program

NewFilmmakers screens its Animation Series curated by Eric Leiser. Short experimental animated films from Japan and local NYC Animators

7:30 PM Feature Presentation
