An NYC reading for the new musical CHASING RAINBOWS - THE ROAD TO OZ has been scheduled for this September 8-18, according to an Equity casting notice. With a book by Mark Acito, the score will be comprised of songs made famous by Judy Garland.

The musical, which was conceived by producer Tina Marie Casamento, will be directed by Matt Lenz and choreographed by Parker Esse.

Featuring songs such as "Over the Rainbow," "I Can't Give Anything But Love," and "Broadway Rhythm," CHASING RAINBOWS follows the trajectory of Garland's life during her rise to fame she gained from her iconic performance as Dorothy in Victor Fleming's 1939 film "The Wizard of Oz."

Casting for the production has not yet been announced. Equity auditions for the reading are scheduled for next Monday, August 18th. Click here for more information!
